Our production is still carried out by using manual labor at every stage due to the traditional features of Afyon delight. Our products are produced using first-class quality nuts collected in season from the region without any additives or active ingredients, natural flavors and colorants obtained entirely from fruits and vegetables, chocolates supplied from Belgium, creams obtained from natural cocoa. No sweetener or sugar syrup other than beet sugar is used in our products.
Akkent Delight, a family heritage that started in Akşehir 165 years ago with Hacı Abdullah’s halva and molasses production and has been maintained for four generations with the inclusion of the unique Afyon delight in production, continues on its way by constantly developing with today’s entrepreneurial vision.

Turkish delight is a confectionery called “rahat-ul hulküm” (throat relaxer) in Arabic, which dates back to 226-652 BC in the Ottoman Empire, which has a story ranging from palace kitchens to sultan’s tables and weddings of the leading families of the period.
We made our first exports to Dubai in 2002 and to America in 2004. With the Turkish delight export we exported to Croatia in 2022, we became the first company to send Turkish delight from Turkey to the country. Today, we are proud to present Turkish delight, which is a national value, to 19 different countries on 4 continents and to be the pioneer of the project that produced the “World’s Longest Delight” in 2024 and entered the Guinness Book of Records.
We meet with local and foreign tourists in Afyonkarahisar with our Akkent brand and in our Istanbul Taksim store with our Ottoman 1860 brand. In March 2025, as the best example of our steady growth, we took our place in Mascat, the capital of Oman, with our first overseas store. At Ottoman1860 Mascat, we serve in the concept of Turkish delight, traditional Turkish flavors and café. This journey from Afyonkarahisar to the world was the work of an international vision.
With our e-commerce site www.akkentonline.com, we supply Turkish delight all over Turkey. In all orders placed from 81 provinces, we bring each of our customers together with the quality of Akkent, which sweetens life even more. We supply Turkish delight to two chain markets in Switzerland and one in Turkey.
